Early Monday morning, Ray Taliaferro of KGO-AM, dean of the left-coast lefty talk-show hosts (profiled briefly here), was prompted by recent events in Iran to launch into a four-star tirade against “nasty men” who, based on nothing more than “plumbing,” believe themselves serenely entitled to subjugate women.

Civil rights, civilian rights, mean an awful lot to me. And I’m troubled when I see that there are places in the world where they don’t practice individual rights. And I don’t know why not. Except generally it’s because we have a bunch of nasty men—and I mean this—nasty, backwards . . . and I could use a couple of swear words, because those are the only words that I could use to properly identify these people who like to call themselves ayatollahs, and supreme beings, and all this nonsense. When all they really are, are just like the rest of everybody else. They came out of a womb. They weren’t supreme when they came out of that womb. And if they happened to have had a vagina instead of a penis, why, they would be under subjugation as well. And not be able to practice their freedoms and liberties.
So it was just a matter of birth, for goodness sakes. It was a matter of plumbing. And that’s what just drives me up a wall.
There is no reason for women to be treated in an inequitable way by men, for pete’s sake. No reason. No reason for women not to have full and total equality with men. Everywhere. And I do mean everywhere. And if they’re not there yet, believe me, at some point they’ll get there.
I’m just sorry when I see it here at the beginning of the 21st Century, where all of this crap should have been done away with, all of these ignorant men who want to be the kings and the sultans and the ayatollahs—I mean, what is this about men? The only difference between a man and a woman is plumbing. That’s it. That’s it. And that’s not being crude, it’s being anatomical. There’s no question about it. The only difference between a man and a woman is plumbing. And where’d you get your plumbing? Well, you know, that’s just a gift of birth. But in parts of the world where human beings pop out of wombs, and they happen to have vaginas, they’ve had hell to pay, because nature gave them a vagina.
My god, guys, those of you who came out with a penis, for some reason, for some reason, some ridiculous, uneducated, stupid, backwards, primitive, uncivilized reason—I take that back, not even reason, because reason implies that there’s rationality there. There’s no rationality to it, there’s no rationality at all that says, with any kind of wonderful knowledge, that because you have a penis, that means you’re a greater thinker, or that you deserve a better position in society, or that you are the one that ought to be dominant. My god. Jeez. It’s horrible.
But that’s what a lot of men—the ones with the penises—that’s what they think.
And in my country, of course, it wasn’t just that you were born, years ago, with a penis or a vagina. The fact is, that you were born with a white one, or a black one. And god help you if you were born with a black one—vagina or penis. If you were born with a black one, then you were really gonna be enslaved, because they wanted to enslave everybody who had black sex organs. And they did. And they did it just on color! Just on color, just on color!
“Let’s see, you got a little baby there, well let me see what the baby—oh-oh, they’ve got a black penis, well, okay, you take him over to the slave part of the plantation, and teach him how to be a good slave, how to obey everybody who was born with—whoa—a white one.”
“Whoa, look at that: okay, you were born with a white penis. Okay, you’re to be in charge here, you’re to run the plantation, and if you need to whip some of these other people into shape, then you whip them into shape.”
“And let’s see—whoa, here’s a white one with a vagina. Okay, you’re home free, except what you oughtta do is to get on your knees here and start praying, because the religion we’re going to instill within you, to make sure that you learn what you need to learn, as a wo-man—see, you’re not a real man, you’re just a wo-man, and you’re to do whatever the white one wants you to do. Here’s a book we want you to read: it’s a book that some of us white penisphiles wrote that shows you your place.”
So all of this time, based on color, based on race, based on sex organs, we’ve had the discrimination that is some of the most ignorant, ignorant approaches to people living together, working together, doing things together . . . .
There are parts of this world where they are still way behind the eight-ball, and I’ve got to tell you, some of those Islamic men are bastards. Bastards. How dare they do what they do with the Islamic women. And I have to tell you folks, the time has come where these bastards have to pay the price. They really have to pay the price.
What makes you think that there is a god in heaven above that causes you, because you popped out of womb with a penis, that hey, you get to lord it over the ones that popped out with vaginas? I mean, for goodness sakes, men, wake up.
I don’t care if there’s a Mohammed, I don’t care if there’s a Jesus Christ, I don’t care if there’s a whoever, the fact of the matter is we’re in the 21st Century, and men and women of all colors need to be working and acting on an equitable basis. And shame on you if you don’t.
